Signal Processing

A signal is a set of waves propagating between two or more than two points (nodes), carrying information and energy from one point to another. Thus, signals can be analog, i.e. continuous, or digital, i.e. discrete. Signal Processing involves the extraction of various data from the characteristics of signals. These data include Noise Analysis, Spectral Density Analysis, Energy calculations, Domain transformations, etc. The structure and data management of MATLAB, which is highly useful in working with vectors and tensors alike, is highly suitable for solving signal processing problems.
